Accessibility
Last updated November 3, 2026
We want everyone, wherever they are, to be able to read about Parquo and use this site. This statement covers the website. It describes what we aim for and what we know isn't there yet; when we hear about a problem, we work to fix it.
The standard we aim for
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, the international standard from the W3C.
Keyboard navigation
- Every link, button and question can be reached with Tab and used with Enter or Space, with a visible focus ring.
- On the home page, the arrow keys, Page Up, Page Down and Space move between screens; Home and End jump to the first and last.
- Questions on the home page open and close with Enter or Space.
Reduced motion
If you've turned on Reduce Motion on your device, the site respects it: screens jump instead of gliding, words appear in place, the wood floor behind the home page holds still, and the demos show their finished state without animating.
Contrast and reading
- We aim for WCAG 2.2 level AA contrast: at least 4.5:1 for body text and 3:1 for large text and controls.
- On the home page, text sits over a wood floor; the floor is shaded behind the words to keep them readable.
- Decorative animation is hidden from screen readers, and the 3D room-scan demo has a text description.
- Measurements in the guides are given in both imperial and metric units.
Known limitations
- The 3D room-scan demo on the home page still moves when Reduce Motion is on.
- The home page moves a whole screen at a time with the mouse wheel and keys, which may feel different from ordinary scrolling.
- The guides, legal pages and this statement are in English only.
